Flat keys

Flats follow the reverse order of the sharps: B, E, A, D, G, C, F. To name the key, the second-to-last flat is the tonic; with a single flat you just have to know it: F major.

One flat (B♭): F major.
Two flats (B♭, E♭): B♭ major.
Three flats (B♭, E♭, A♭): E♭ major.

In the bass clef the signature sits on the positions of that clef, but the order and the name of the key do not change.
