First and second endings
When the repeat has to end differently the second time, two endings are written: the "1." bracket is played only the first time and "2." only the second. The first ending carries the repeat bar line at its end.
The route is: the shared bars, ending 1, back to the start of the repeat, the shared bars again and ending 2. Ending 1 is never played twice.
