Playing notes on the staff
Every answer so far has been a name or a button. Here the answer is the note itself: you play it. And now the octave counts, because C4 and C5 are two different answers, not two ways of saying "C".
- With a MIDI keyboard connected, the key you press is the answer.
- With the microphone, sing or play the note: any octave counts, because a voice sits where it sits.
- With neither, the piano on screen stands in and the exercise works the same.
The instrument is chosen in Settings. It is the same one the rhythm and reading-at-tempo drills already use.
Drill
The session goes on until every skill below is mastered: at least 10 answers, at most 40. Your progress carries over between sessions.
